Descripción general

Drama ambientado en la Segunda Guerra Mundial basado en los documentales realizados durante 1943 por el director americano William Wyler. La historia se centra en la tripulación de "Memphis Belle", un enorme bombardero del ejército aliado. Los diez jóvenes americanos que componen su tripulación han sobrevivido a veinticuatro incursiones, y esperan recibir instrucciones para su última misión antes de volver a casa.
